Dakota's Flower: Banned in the UK

According to the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) the latest Marc Jacobs Ad for new perfume Oh, Lola! is sexualizing the child star, and has been BANNED. Deemed inappropriate, and is to not be seen EVER again. (click for more)

Funny, because it looks to me like she's holding a flower. Maybe we're getting a little too prudish? If anyone saw the 17 year old in her last film "The Runaways", the Marc Jacobs ad hardly begins to exude the shock waves it would take to make this offensive (at least, to us).

Maybe we're all a little too perverted in our society. Is that all it takes? A large object sitting in the lap of a innocent-looking young girl is enough to clang and bash the nerves of a nation?!

Well, I guess it can.

And if you like scandalous advertising. Check out this truly and uniquely scandalous collection of ads courtesy of Calvin Klein Jeans sometime in the 90s.

This time, I'm kind of disturbed.
